Hi Willow! Is there supposed to be a link to another blogger’s post?

Ha, yes, yes, there was. *laugh* Should be fixed now! (Did I mention I was having an off couple of weeks? Ha!) Thanks, Priscilla, for letting me know!

Chaplin: “All kinds of bugs!”
Charlee: “The more bugs the merrier!”
Lulu: “Wasps sting, you know.”
Charlee: “No wasps though, thanks!”

I thought something seemed hinky when I reblogged it, but I was tired and didn’t do my usual thorough followup. Thanks!

I fixed it! Thanks again for the heads up! As you might have guessed from my previous post, it’s been that kind of week(s)! Ha!

Well done! I’ll go back and take another look. Makes you wonder what all those who hit the like button before me were liking!

I know, right? People probably just have a busy schedule like a certain Willow Croft who posted up without a link! ROFL!

I noticed when I went back that someone else had commented. I’m fairly certain that wasn’t there when I added in mine, and am hoping that it was still awaiting moderation at that point. If not, I’m having a bad day too 😂

Hey, it might actually be a real WordPress glitch, as a possible result of their tinkering with WP again.

I can readily recall the unsigned editorial that a local newspaper, The Surrey Now-Leader, printed just before Earth Day 2017, titled “Earth Day in need of a facelift”. Varied lengths of the same editorial, unfortunately, was also run by some sister newspapers, all owned by the same news-media mogul who also happens to be an aspiring oil refiner.
It opined that “some people would argue that [the day of environmental action] … is an anachronism”, that it should instead be a day of recognizing what we’ve societally accomplished. “And while it [has] served us well, in 2017, do we really need Earth Day anymore?”
Until reading this, I had never heard anyone, let alone a mainstream news outlet, suggest we’re doing so well as to render Earth Day an unnecessary “anachronism”. Considering the sorry state of the planet’s natural environment, I still find it one of the most absurd and irresponsible acts of editorial journalism I’ve witnessed in my 3.5 decades of news consumption.

…and why are people still (over)using pesticides? That’s what I wonder, too.

I don’t know how I managed to post here a second time so much of what I already posted the day before. I apologize.
