I cannot believe it has been ten whole days (at least!) since I was on here and reading blogs.
I am just really off my (time management) game, still.
Is it the heat? I’m beginning to think I can’t blame it on that anymore, even though it’s still hot here.
*wry laugh*
So, today is spent catching up on some blog reading, then off to set up interviews over at Horror Tree for (to-be-scheduled) posting, and then hopefully complete my horrorscopes for October (and my tarot-cards-for-inspiration post).
Or maybe I’ll just go take a nap, because I also seem to have misplaced my self-training to be an early bird, and am reverting back to being a night owl.
I wish that I could dream impossible things into reality…
I think that yearning was part of what inspired my guest post over at Charles French’s blog, for his “Underground Literary Society” theme: https://charlesfrenchonwordsreadingandwriting.wordpress.com/2024/09/22/a-new-addition-to-the-underground-library-society-willow-croft-on-charlotte-sometimes-by-penelope-farmer/
Hope you enjoy the read! Thanks for sticking around while I get things sorted…
Heading over there.

I can’t believe I have fallen so far behind in blog-reading. Sigh.

I’ve been falling behind and catching up and falling behind and catching up a lot lately, too! Maybe I can blame the animals …

You know, maybe you’re onto something. Even my fierce Viking Warrior Moon Pie has been seeking out a lot more attention lately. And the weather hasn’t even turned cold enough to merit that change in her behavior…

Now I feel guilty…but don’t worry, I’ll make it all better by giving my cats big, squishy hugs. Because we all know how much cats *love* hugs, right? (And, yes, I’m joking about the hugs-for-cats bit! I do need a good set of fingers for writing, after all!)

Sometimes it’s just okay not to be on top of your game. You’ve had so many things to deal with recently. You always sort yourself out when you’re ready!!!! In the meantime, where are the rest of us going? Nowhere fast. LOL We’ll be here when you can catch up!

Hi.
Shira from “Context, Thought and Learning” asked me if I could pass a link to one of her latest posts on to you. It is about an idea for a scary story, in which maybe you might be interested: Donating A Terrible Story Idea (?) | Context, Thought, and Learning: ShiraDest Offers Project Do Better (wordpress.com)

Greetings Birgit, thank you! I loved my visit to Denmark, but, sadly, it has been too many years since then! Thanks for visiting, and sharing!
