It was a fantastic experience to work with the designer (and storyteller) of the delightfully deranged Little Fears.
Of his many Little Fears characters, I selected Durthi, the plant shaman…

It actually gave me chills when I listened to it, and I wrote the dang thing!
Read his books if you want to meet the rest of the creepy, yet charming, Little Fears!
Impressively scary little verse, especially when read along with the British voice in the audio. Great job, Willow! I loved the play on the firing of the pistils. A very macho thing for a male plant to do.

Well, I was inspired by a picture in a schoolbook of a flower’s diagrammed parts….
Well, I didn’t write it in the context of being “macho”; rather, it’s the revenge of the flowers.
Cheers, mate. Your tale is fab and has gone down a treat!
Great! Getting lots of likes over here on my end! 😉
Very nice… Congrats on your collaboration!
Thanks! It was a rad experience!
Thanks! It was a cool opportunity!
That was awesome! I was going to pick out my favorite line, but the whole thing is fantastic! I love the pistils/pistols play on words.
Rad! Thanks for reading, and the feedback! Glad you enjoyed it! I love the Little Fears posts…
