I’ve been to Punxsutawney and have also seen the Groundhog Day celebration. As a fellow Pennsylvanian, I know how much the folks out in Western PA love the event. The prediction doesn’t always pan out, but then again our weather “experts” don’t always get it right either. I agree giving out random wildlife hugs should be frowned upon.😀

I am feeling the same way….like very unbalanced…it’s a strange feeling, eh? Like I’m wandering around feeling like something’s off (you know, like when you forget something or you’ve lost something and you can’t remember where you last had it or what it was)…I don’t know…just thinking out loud. I just feel like displaced in my skin or something…

Thanks! I saved the one you did for me once upon a time that among other interesting bits declared the night is my friend. It’s very true – something about the darkness. I even get up at 3AM to start my day because it’s extends my “dark” time. Maybe since we don’t feel comfortable in our skin we’re aliens or perhaps time travelers! 🙂

I don’t care about the weather, spring comes sooner or later. But groundhogs are so adorable. We have them in our yard every spring and summer. And sometimes we’ll get babies too.
